These were interesting games, mechanically. I can't say I ever truly liked the Magnus system, but it was definitely different. I hope they redo the voice acting for the first game though...it was not good then.

^They’re only including the Japanese voices for this remaster which will be a nice to hear but I wish they gave us the English option. I found the awkward English dub for the first game to have a certain charm and the second game had an amazing dub. Like one of the best video game dubs ever made. It’s sad it won’t be included Sad

Second guessing this without the dub. Bad or not, it's part of my nostalgia.
Wonder why it wasn't included.
Maybe the addition of the English voice track would make the games too big to fit on the cartridge? Or maybe they lost the audio masters for the English track or they couldn’t be used due to being too low quality? Surely they could just rip them off a GameCube disc in the formers case.
Hope at least both games are on the cartridge.

I'm pretty sure everything that was in two 1.5 GB Game Cube discs for each game can easily fit in a single Switch's card.
Either they really lost the masters for the audio track or there were some right's issues(which made Konami redub Silent Hill 2 and 3 for the HD releases, for example)to use them for re-releases

Just ripping something from one place to another isn’t always that simple.

To this day one of the best RPGs ever made, solely due to the Magnus mechanic both in and outside of combat.

Origins however is utter trash, simply because they butchered said mechanic.
