I don't know why there is not more activity in this forum. I have been horrified at the lack of quality of even the few shows I am watching this fall. But "Raven of the Inner Palace" is truly a hidden gem. The animation, music, and stories are all beautiful. The emotion of the actors is great. I guess it doesn't have the cheap thrills to keep the fanboys excited. But if you want a quality show to enjoy you should be watching this. Thank you to all the creators.

@ Shiremage - I heartily concur. I really love this one for all the reasons you listed. The relationship between the Raven Escort and the Emperor always makes me smile. I love the way she sasses him and I think he does, too. I enjoy this show so much I'll have to buy the novel when Seven Seas publishes it which is supposed to be in February of next year. Can't wait. |
