Seeing Monster there is certainly a surprise. Since the rest of these titles are clearly not exclusives, I wonder if that's a good sign for those hoping for a physical license. Not a bad selection overall, even if most of it is streaming elsewhere anyway.

In Australia, Death Note, Parasyte and Hunter x Hunter are already on Netflix. Monster and Ouran would be welcome though.

Netflix is where I initially watched Ouran and Death Note a few years ago, lol

A lot of these are available depending on the territory, but a long term deal is still a big get considering the promise of future material.

Ippo specifically. I know the manga is…obscenely long, but given Netflix’s own love of and success with combat sports anime, an Ippo continuation co-funded by Netflix makes a lot of sense,

It's probably going to Netflix in countries that don't already have that title. I would say the same for like Ouran High School Host Club, but I don't know if it was out of there recently or not (I haven't used Netflix in a long while so forgive me.)

Actually they recently took it off. But Death Note is still on there along with Hunter x Hunter and Ouran High School Host Club.

Is Monster available on any service in the US? Seems like that has been one of the more elusive anime to watch (legally) for some time.
Glad I get to finally watch it with hopefully the English dub.

If that is the case I would love for netflix to license Eyeshield.

Also its nice to see the Re:light movies being added in, even though they are retellings of the series from Ryuk's perspective.

Monster hasn't been available to stream for years. I remember it being removed from Netflix over a decade ago when I was only halfway through the series, so I watched the rest in 3-part segments on YouTube.

We never even got a complete home video release. IIRC, the only reason we got a complete dub in the first place is because it aired on the Syfy channel.

It is good that Monster will be streaming; it is such a fantastic title. I need a NA disc release of it to replace my AU DVD release from Siren Visual.

IF Hajime No Ippo The Fighting is gonna be streamed in the US. Then this actually opens the door to hope that Netlfix will then stream the second and third seasons and if those two seasons stream in America then maybe FINALLY. They can do what they did with Kuroko and give that a dub as well. Hell they could actually get a large chunk of the cast back too! OH GOD PLEASE LET THIS LEAD TO IPPO S2 AND 3 GETTING DUBBED. PLEASE

I remember watching Claymore and Ouran on netflix years ago. Death Note, HxH, and Parasyte are currently on American netflix now.

When was the last time Berserk 1997 saw the light of day in America? And Monster hasn't been legally available in a decade either. So this is good news! Hopefully Master Keaton, Hell Girl, and other Nippon titles can come next.
