Did you watch the first season? That's just what the show looks like. You adjust to it pretty quick.

I really like this show. Looking forward to seeing Bo- chan and Alice again.
Gives similar vibes to Taishou Otome which is a wonderful series as well.

The only time it got distracting for me was anytime his sister was around, she's the most the anime looking character in the show and she sticks out like a sore thumb.

I hate, hate, HATE! CG anime, but this one was a welcome surprise. Don't know why this one is such an exception but I can't wait for the next season. Just wish they would dub the song scenes into english.
