Crunchyroll needs to hurry up and announce the dub for season 1 before season 2 comes out. I just tweeted at them alongside mr. Friedman and mr. Dempsey. They have 7 weeks to announce the dub or else.

Was easy to work out if you looked at the current re-broadcast of PlanetES currently airing on E-Tele.

Fits in perfectly with the week after the last episode.

(Also release dates of the OP/ED made it easy to work out)

I would have expected the kind of people who watch Love Live and the kind of people who watch dubbed anime to be groups with zero intersection.

Then you would be wrong. Obviously those who watch dubbed Idol shows don’t expect or want the songs dubbed but I am more than happy to watch Love Live dubbed.

I've only watched the Love Live series dubbed. I own all of the original and Sunshine on blu ray which includes the movies as well. I also have merchandise, shirts and posters. It's what pretty much all your average 39 year old Texas, Army veteran men are interested in.

That’s actually surprising to me. I’m active in two of the biggest regional Love Live Discord groups on the east coast and lurk on the a third, and all actively look down on the dubs, to say nothing of the larger servers for the Love Live subreddits. Then again, most of us are the type to go to DVs and the like, so maybe that filters out what can seem to be more “casual” fans?

I think the last time the dub was even mentioned was surprise that Shuuchan wouldn’t be voicing Mia in the Niji season 2 dub even though she speaks fluent English.

i mean respect when respect's due. You are a fan and that's that. I personally despise the LL dubs but I can see why companies release dubs, they realise there is a demand and the profit definitely justifies the cost (specially in LL's case). So why not.
