Unless the licenses are expiring, I was under the assumption that everything will eventually make it's way in the crossover.

Considering they are simucasting Nijigasaki, I'm sure Superstar will make it over to Crunchyroll before season 2 starts, as they are most likely the one to simulcast it.

It's cool to see Nicholas Andrew Louie in a lead role, and Lindsay Sheppard getting a major lead role along with established names like AmaLee and Bryn Appril

Huh has Gianni worked with Funi before?

He's Canadian, so could we possibly be seeing more north-of-the-border talent in the future? I'd love to see the old Ocean Group crew doing anime again

I'm wondering why My Senpai is Annoying hasn't moved over yet since it's a newer title

He has. He played Leo in Arte.

He’s done some work with Sound Cadence before (Arte, Tribe Nine, etc…), so not too surprising considering this is a Sound Cadence dub, not an in-house CR dub.

Side note, I’m torn between being happy that Sound Cadence is continuing to do seasonal work for CR while also selfishly sad that they aren’t working on a show I was interested in hahaha

Still no Fairy Tail OVAs Sad
If only Avex released the Fairy Tail OVA Collection on Blu-Ray right about now, so that there will be a chance for the Fairy Tail OVAs to make its debut outside of Japan.

I've been noticing that Monica Rial has been using her deeper toned voice a lot lately. Might be cause she's getting older and her voice could be straining? I don't know, don't wanna speculate.

I don't think it's that. Monica's natural voice is actually quite high and I just watched the dub of TSUKIMICHI, where her child voice makes a cameo and it sounds like it always has. Granted, the bulk of her lines in that show are with her lower range due to playing Shen/Tomoe.

She was cast as the lead in Dawn of the Witch, though, which involves her using her trademark higher-pitched voice too, so I don't think she's lost vocal range, I think she's just having more success being cast with her lower, more mature voices this season. Monica's range is legendary and she can sound like a different person just by changing her tone or inflection, so she is definitely a VA who a company can get away with casting in everything, ha.

Honestly I prefer Monica's lower range over her higher, so her playing a lovely warrior in one anime and a mom in another is perfectly fine with me!

I love her range too. It is amazing how versatile she can be. Nice to see her roles have been branched out as well.

I do worry that this new Funimation/Crunchyroll venture may be spreading all of them a little thin. Aaron Dismuke had to take a break from Kaguya-sama just to repair his voice. Not to mention the Marge Simpson voice actress is REALLY straining.

Getting old sucks.

I'm kind of wondering why they went with Sound Cadence here when virtually everything else new this season has been in-house.

Not that I mind, Sound Cadence deserves more work, just kind of stood out to me.

That likely has to do with what they said about how shows from the Winter season would continue on Funimation. A few shows that Funimation was streaming from that season did have dubs go over pretty quickly, but those look to be shared licenses with Crunchyroll. Since my Funimation subscription expired right around when the Spring season started, I wrote down the shows I was watching simuldubbed. Some I was able to finish on Crunchyroll, but some aren't on there, even subtitled.
