Ah, I was going to make the comment "Is this the first time City Hunter has ever been published in English? Flammarion's "J'ai Lu" imprint first published it in French in, like, 1995 or 1996, roughly 26 or 27 years ago now." but I checked the encyclopedia and totally forgot about Gutsoon's brief stint at translating City Hunter into English back in 2002.

It might not be a common story, but reading City Hunter in Raijin Comics was my introduction to it. I got a ton of those issues sitting around the house still because they were the only english versions of a few manga. Really got me into quite a few series.

Well, maybe this is a good sign that someone will publish print copies of City Hunter again. One can only hope.

Every time I see a mention of City Hunter, Get Wild gets played inside my head.

CR news article on this (posted March 23) states
"Japanese publisher Coamix previously attempted to release the City Hunter manga in English in the early 2000s through its Gutsoon Entertainment subsidiary via the Raijin Comics anthology magazine as well as individual volumes, before the the subsidiary was shut down in the middle of 2004."
So Coamix is trying again.
I have some of the Raijin Comic indiviual volumes...
I'd prefer actual hardcopy volumes somewhen rather than just digital, but it'll be WONDERFUL if the whole series gets done in English. Over 20 years of waiting...
