And here I was thinking Sentai was gonna release Healer through their own label... The Maiden Japan moniker does suit it better though.
Also of note: Sentai/Maiden Japan releases normally feature a TV content rating that estimates (oftentimes poorly and with jumbled subratings) the level of objectionable content in the show. For Redo of Healer? No TV content rating. Instead, it's 18+ with the "DSV" subrating, which doesn't make sense at all but is still hilarious knowing the overall fact: Healer is so saucy it broke Sentai's age rating system. Not that it stopped me from personally giving every episode either a TV-MAS or TV-MASV rating.

Still waiting for gkids to convince me why anyone should pay for a version of eva without 1. the ending theme or 2. the original dub

Of all the pointless things to die on a hill for, the original Eva dub has to be one of the most pointless. And if you're that keen on having Fly Me to the Moon in there, just find it somewhere and play it over the closing credits. At least it's just the closing theme in Eva, you should try being a Daria fan and having all the songs originally used in the show taken out for the home release because of the licensing issues!

I'm not a huge Eva fan, but I still broke down and bought that limited edition just to get the dub I wanted. It sucks how they put everyone over a barrel.

Hitorijime Boyfriend definitely did not come out on November 9th, I just got an email from Amazon saying it's been delayed for another month (to December 7th)
Edit: Just saw that it's referring to the ebook release, but according to Kodansha's website that's also wrong. Ebook is coming out November 23rd and physical volume on December 7th

Funnily enough, I am a Daria fan, and the same way I pirated the restoration project to watch it with the music intact, is the same way I'll continue to watch eva. The music and dub are important to plenty of people, why wouldn't a dub that's been around for 25 years be considered an important part of the experience?

Anyone get Gundam Seed Destiny shipped? Its just that RightStuf usually ships their releases early(first SEED set was shipped an entire month before release last year) but SEED Destiny is still Pending for me and now it says Out of Stock. Hopefully there isn't some delay.

I was a bit surprised it wasn't through Sentai. It was on Hi Dive, and that doesn't have anything else from their hentai label does it? I should have realized that was why RightStuff blurred the cover even though the cover wasn't that lewd. My discs also arrived last Friday so I was surprised to see it as a release for this week.
I only watched the first 2 episodes before hand, and honestly I expected it to be kind of like Goblin Slayer where something early caused a stir then things wind down. I think the series would have been plenty interesting without going as sexual as it did. I can't say it doesn't deserve the Maiden Japan label after watching it. The actual revenge element was an interesting take. I saw an interview with the author on youtube, and I have to agree with his point that most 'revenge' series bail out on the revenge part pretty quickly. The commitment here was impressive, but I think killing them while toning down the rape would have still managed the same effect.

I noticed that mine just says out of stock on it now. I preordered in August, and I know that the website was accepting preorders even at the end of October. Seems like they accepted too many, but I don't know why the hell the earlier preorders weren't the ones that shipped.
Extra shit part of this seems to be that I did get charged for it in August. I'm fine with needing to put money down on a preorder to guarantee that they produce enough. Time value of money and all, if they were just sitting on my money and fail to deliver then I will be pissed. I like them over Amazon ever since Amazon stopped using boxes for bluray delivery, but I'd rather return half of my blurays to Amazon for replacements to get one without a shattered box than fail to get my item.

The dub even getting a re-release, no matter how limited, is still more than a lot of anime that get redubbed are given. And the ending song is hardly relevant to the series - it wasn't even chosen by the main creative staff! In my opinion OG Eva fans should take off the rose-tinted glasses and stop acting so entitled. Times change.

It is "Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster" that is releasing, not "Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster".
The first game came out a while ago with Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster and Final Fantasy III Pixel Remaster.
I'm not sure if it is worth the buy though, as I've heard that multiplayer is out.

Thanks for sharing that. I hadn't seen anything from RightStuf until that which I do now see in my email. I'm disappointed to hear about the delay, but I would be less aggravated about it if they would have communicated this before the release date. I'm looking for a shipping notification and wondering where my shit is. If I at least had found a notification letting me know about the delays, that would have been a much better customer experience. There is no way that they only just found out today that there were issues making the discs in time.
