Wait, why did they remove Detective Conan and My Little Pony? Both of those show promotes all of that and doesn't have violence, blood (ok, Conan probably does), vulgarity, or pornography. This is why I don't like Right-wing reactionary governments

Basically "It doesn't promote tyrannical CCP ideals, so we must suppress and ban it", and people wonder why I don't support things like Genshin Impact and pretty anything made by Bilibili. I don't want a cent going to the CCP whenever possible, especially not for entertainment, where the incidents of censorship and other forms of negativity keep occurring at a rapid rate.

Awww, come on admit it. Boycotting Genshin Impact and Bilibili; people who themselves probably have nothing to do whatsoever the actions of the Chinese government is just ultra-wide paintbrush criticism of an entire nation. I think more people than you realize are boycotting them for that exact reason, myself included.

To be fair, early Detective Conan is a bit edgier than nowadays where it has more general appeal; more pervy jokes, decapitations, and the like. But the inclusion of My Little Pony raises some serious eyebrows.

I don't want to go off topic, but how is the CCP a right-wing reactionary government? Their censorship applied to anything that doesn't fit their vision for Chinese society, including conservative institutions like Christian churches, mosques and even traditional Chinese religions. I don't think they fit the western concept of right vs left wing, the CCP is just reactionary when it comes to anything they don't like.

The distinction between boycotting a Chinese company and boycotting the government is wafer-thin. A company of any size needs the government's approval and accepts government orders to operate, and the government will prop up any company it sees as important.

There is nothing right wing about the CCP. Left wing governments can be just as authoritarian and aggressive in terms of censorship.

Economic policy is not necessarily tied to having liberal vs. conservative values.
The terms "left-wing" and "right-wing" as they're used in English communities don't really even apply to Chinese political factions. There aren't really even "factions" as we know them, since officially it's a single-party government, and straying too far from the party's politics will get you kicked out. The left-wing Chinese faction opposes representative democracy, is highly nationalistic, is against globalization, and supports strict market regulations; the right-wing faction supports individual rights, less market control, and limiting government power.

You answer your own question, they censor things that don't fit their society. They are very conservative, the only difference is they don't use religion.

Communism can be either Right or Left, like how Capitalism can also be Left or Right. I can be here all day talking about the difference between Maoism, Stalinism, and Marxism (I'm somewhat a political nerd)

Mihoyo, the company behind Genshin Impact and the Honkai games, literally joined the CCP three weeks ago "to further strengthen CCP leadership and deepen CCP integration through work ethic, business and development". They have a fully-fledged committee now.

I concede that the original "right wing/left wing" terms denoted monarchists versus (small d) democrats. Still, the way that you wield this terminology is extremely problematic. For example, sure they are all authoritarian, but nonetheless monarchism, communism and fascism are very different things. And then there is non-ideological authoritarianism i.e. military juntas and cult-of-personality dictators (power for mere power's sake). Papering over things like that results in "right wing means everything that I disagree with."

It is more like (Right) hierarchies and social orders and (Left) is egalitarianism and social equality. I just use my own definition and it is not just I don't like it so it Right
