I would have hoped they'd follow the Fujiko Mine timeline (that includes the movies after it), which is my favorite because of how dark it is. Dark Lupin best Lupin for me.

Part V was really good, so I've got high hopes for Part VI.

I guess the director prefers people don't bring up Kodomo no Jikan, for some reason. Anyway, U hope they use more of the side Lupin manga as references for this installment.

So this will be about exploring Lupin's darker side and his murky morality, uh?

I thought that was already done with The Woman Called Fujiko Mine and the three Lupin III films directed by Takeshi Koike.

Nice, the green jacket is back. I really liked the one episode of Part 5 that Takahiro Okura wrote (which also featured the green jacket, come to think of it), so I'm looking forward to what he and Suganuma are cooking up.

I meant the show focused on him.

Another Lupin TV series is great news. I loved Part V (too bad Discotek still hasn't released it over here), so I'm looking forward to Part VI. Apparently this one takes place in England? I'd like to see him steal the Crown Jewels... again.

With it seemingly being Green Jacket, I wonder if Part VI will go back to the show's negative continuity, or at the very least be more akin to that first series. I hope it is set during the Green Jacket days, and acts as a new look at early Lupin without just rehashing that first series.

Awesome news! Plus, Yuji Ohno is returning for the music, which is always a plus. Hopefully this is a two cour series like the last two, but even one is more than enough. The Toonami run though probably won't happen until late 2022. The teaser visual and teaser trailer are both fantastic.

Between this and Part IV and V being great, the Koike movies, and the visuals of the First, Lupin fans have been getting it good the past couple of years.

Part IV was great, and then Part V came along and was one of the best series I've seen in years. I can't think of another franchise that's managed to keep reinventing itself in fresh new ways while keeping every bit of its classic appeal. Lupin forever!

5 is my favorite Lupin Part overall, so I'm glad Okura's back. I'm even more excited that it looks like this will be a green jacket series. The first 9 episodes of that were fantastic. I'd love more like them.
Looking forward to following the simulcast. (Assuming it's a safe bet after Parts 4 and 5)

Every Lupin Animated Work prior to the newer anime’s were negative continuity.

It’s more likely to rehash part 2 in tone then part 1.
