If this comes out in English then I will check it out. Hanasaku Iroha was, IMO, one of the best anime of the first half of the 2010s, and would love to see where all of the teenagers are as adults.

Cool. I also hope this gets an English release. It would be even better if it gets made into an anime. I consider Hanasaku Iroha the best anime that P.A. Works has made.

It was one of my favorites as well and I would love to get a translation of it and or anime in time.

Hopefully, this means Funi will start streaming the original series now, as promised back in May when they announced all those NIS titles, which said would be added to their streaming catalog “soon.”
Clearly their definition of “soon” is different than mine.

I thought we were getting an anime sequel, but I hope they translate and release this novel in English.

I absolutely loved the series and have watched it about four times. The OVA/Movie Home Sweet Home was touching and bittersweet, a perfect book end for the series - and like any great series, its something that you don't want to end and a world you don't want to leave. I hadn't heard about the possible streaming return on Funimation - last availability I know of was crunchyroll but it disappeared years ago. I really hope there is an english translation of the book.

Easily my favorite PA Works show, and I'd argue their best. Maybe it'll fix the glaring issue with the romance being an afterthought.

This is what I really wanted the movie to be, while I enjoyed the movie I’m a big can of epilogue stories that show where the characters ended up.

I know right? I got it in my head that there was a sequel coming but, after doing some half-assed research, I cant find anything about a season 2. I wonder how i got that thought.
