Geezus, those threats and comments against the judge... I don't care which side of the aisle you stand on with the whole Vic issue, comments like this should NEVER be said to any other human being no matter what situation comes up. That's a damn shame to read, point blank period.

I hope the Judge presses charges. Freedom of speech doesn't cover threats of violence

Those tweets are characteristic of many of the people Mignogna has sicced on his accusers.

These pro Vic people have convinced themselves that they’re going to win.

If mediation implies compromise, I find it annoying. There should be no compromise with the bringers of this lawsuit, except over how much of the defendants' costs they owe them.
And surprise, Vic cultists don't know not to threaten a judge. They're not known for their good decision making. Then again, neither is Vic. |

I’m sure plenty will try to twist it but nah, it doesn’t imply that. It’s trying to give Vic/Beard/etc one last chance at mercy from the defendants. Whether that’s meeting demands in order to drop the whole thing here, or trying to negotiate just how much Vic is gonna have to pay in costs etc, because otherwise Chupp gets to decide that amount completely out of their hands, and I’m gonna hazard a guess that they’d rather not have 100% of all party’s costs on them. Though what they’d have to offer for the defendants to not let it go to Chupp is anyone’s guess. |

Yep. He's offering Vic & his clown car of LOLyers one last lifeline. My guess, based on precedent, is that they'll loop it around their necks and jump over the railing. |

Yeah, this sounds like it's basically saying, "Here's your chance to back out of this now before having to pay all of these legal fees bankrupts you."

For Vic's sake, I hope he looks into how badly Percy repped him and bends over backwards to make this go away.
For the defendants' sakes, I hope they get all of their fees, solid sanctions, and a public apology from Vic for taking this stupid thing out on them. If it ends in mediation we will likely never know how it ended, but I imagine no matter the outcome the stans will try to make their lives hell. Go get 'em, girls (and Ron). EDIT: It appears Percy is either too stupid to understand what this is for him, or is putting on a brave face for the GriftForMe, but he seems to have ignored what the judge said about not inciting Twitter followers. Maybe it would help if he was listening. Last edited by gilgameshi on Tue Sep 17, 2019 6:56 pm; edited 1 time in total |

My takeaway from this is the Judge is allowing the parties involved to settle things on their own, and hopefully come to a compromise. Otherwise the Judge will either drop all charges or rule in favor of Funimation, Monica Rial, and Ron Toye causing Vic to pay for their legal fees. Either way Vic is going to owe a lot of people a lot of money I wonder if his cult of fans are still going to help him out with that.

This is the one time I really really wish Vic was in the courtroom. For the judge to read out those threats and not sweep them away quietly like most other cases would... oh boy. Since this kind of stuff has been going on since the beginning I'd like Vic to hear the voices who are supposedly supporting him.
And yeah, this would be their get-out-of-jail-with-less-damages card, though it makes me wonder which side will try and play hardball in this situation. Monica and Ron probably wont, but I can see at least Funi doing it, if not Ty being stupid and trying it from Vic's side too. |

This is a opportunity for Vic to reduce the amount of money he's going to be out. Already Beard has opened his mouth. Nick is still rabble rousing. There is no way Vic is not going to be on the hook for all the defendants costs. If there is no negotiated settlement Vic and Beard are both going to be sanctioned with whatever the Court decides is an amount that will discourage the filing of SLAPP suits. That's the law in Texas. There is no upper limit on how much money they can be sanctioned.

Let this be a possoble signal to the end.
I don't care what side you are. Whether you are #kickvic or #istandwithvic, there is absolutley no good reason to threaten someone. Especially a judge! Seriously!? "It would be a justified kill"!? No! Just no!! |

Let's see, the number of dishonest and unethical things Ty has done: 1. Failed to tell Vic that the GFM account is managed by a person Ty is financially tied to. 2. Attempted to lie to the judge about a request from the defendant's attorneys for a delayed hearing. 3. Forged a notary and got caught. 4. Forged Vic's signature on the re-submitted affidavits. Considering how completely incompetent, shady AND dishonest Ty has been this entire time, this mediation will be a disaster. This won't be a dumpster fire, the fire has now spread across to the back of the restaurant with a poor health inspection. |

And yet on Twitter when you bring any of this up, the stans just defend it like it is completely okay. |
