Alright it's getting a dub at least.

I am curious if it will be funimation dubbing it or not (maybe bang zoom?) since it sounds like crunchy owns the license and funimation gave dates for all their other summer dubs so far but not this one.

Dr. Stone seems like the perfect show to add to Toonami.

I believe that Crunchyroll is the co-producer for Dr. Stone

If that is the case then that still raises the question of if they are letting funimation dub it or letting funimation stream the dub like with shield hero. Just curiosity more than anything. I'm just thankful it's getting a simuldub.

I think Crunchyroll and Funimation made a new deal or new partnership since they still sharing anime. Not at the level of the original partnership. Both having a partnership is beneficial sharing anime with each other.

I'm not in the least surprised, it looks like a Funimation show, the only other publisher aside from them that I would have seen getting it was Viz.

Shueisha/Shonen Jump titles hardly need any co-financing outside of Japan so I highly doubt CR co-produced this show, but I do know for sure that CR is the master license holder to this show.

As for the dub, CR probably is letting BangZoom handle the dub and will be simuldubbing the show along with Funi. This is all speculation so I could be wrong.

Yeah I think confused another show that is co-produce by CR but yes, I think they got Master License.

I believe CR is co-producer of Black Clover(a Shonen Jump title),they even produced dubs for Latin American and European countries, something that CR has been doing with some of the anime they either co-produced or has the master license for it.

I know exactly what you mean but it's hard to explain. Shows like this and Fire Force just have that anime-mainstream appeal that those publishers tend to grab.

Yeah, you'd have to imagine that Funimation would see these kinds of shows as "no brainers".
