Yoshi Ten (#64006) is a duplicate of Yoshiten (#10529)—though I can't find proof that s/he prefers it one way or the other.

[Done -t (In cases where we can't find the preferred name I generally go with the name that has the most credits, or the name that's been in the encyc the longest if the number of credits are equal)]

Ok, doc watson 42, my mistake, i was too reckless, after a little investigation i found out that there is two kyoko togawa. Kyoko Togawa (戸川暁子) and Kyoko Togawa(戸川京子). The first one is the old one and play kano's first grandmother in texhnolyze. The second is young, singer and actress and play mary in zone of the enders, but her name can be read as etsuko and as kyouko, kyouko is more appropriate. Other than this i will fix my contributions in the etsuko togawa page.

Since he's now in the news, can you combine Alexander Smith and Alexander O. Smith (preferred). His website also lists full videogame and novel translation credits.

Tony TAKA (#61084) and Taka Tony (#56841) are the same person, who is actually called just "Tony", e.g., here. The source of the confusion is his site's URL http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/i/taka_tony/, and his E-mail address, taka_tony[at]i.bekkoame.ne.jp.

IMHO it would be best to create a third entry, "Tony", enter in it the information from the first two, and make the first two redirects, as well as aliases in the third entry.

This really isn't a duplicate person report... more like a question, but for

Courtney Geter

I was wondering if it's possible that her name is Courteny Geter? I was starting to enter information for Le Portrait de Petit Cossette and it seems she's printed there as Courteny Geter (Production Artist). Should I enter her as Courteny or Courtney?

I wish I could prove it was the same or separate person/people. Or prove which spelling is correct if they are in fact the same person. I haven't found a way to determine this Anime hyper

Edit: GAH I have another question, please don't hurt me Anime cry

Printed within the manga, it credits Aska Yoshizu as the translator. She wasn't a part of the database so I added her. I realized that there is someone named Asuka Yoshizu in the database (credited for Girls Bravo manga, which is also by Tokyopop). Which should I use? Aska or Asuka? I don't know if they are different or the same person either. But I do know that the Romaji would be Asuka, but the manga prints it as Aska. Maybe a mistake on their part?

Sorry for creating a duplicate person if Aska is to be erased... Anime cry I knew I should have checked the people listing before adding so, I'm sorry.

I have another situation with the manga. Tokyopop website currently credits Tim Seeley for both english versions of Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, yet he's only credited in volume one of the manga for English Adaptation, and there's Gina Ferenzi who helped with both volumes for English Adaptations according to the credits in the book itself. Gahh.. what to do Anime cry Credit him with only one? or both?

Hello,

I don't really have any answer to this issue, but I think it's important to bring up. Night Shift Nurses #610, BloodShadow #2888, Foxy Nudes #7238, Maison Plaisir #4375, Panty Flash Teacher #7229, and Princess 69: Midnight Gymnastics #7212 are all directed by the same person, which I'm not sure how to read but in Japanese the name is 桶澤尚 .

He is listed as director on DISCOVERY's site (adult oriented):
Night Shift Nurses > http://www.seddnet.com/products/yakin1.html
BloodShadow > http://www.seddnet.com/products/guren1.html
Foxy Nudes > http://seddnet.com/products/caster1.html
Maison Plaisir > http://www.seddnet.com/products/gekka1.html
Panty Flash Teacher > http://www.seddnet.com/products/teacher1.html
Princess 69: Midnight Gymanstics > http://www.seddnet.com/products/shintaiso1.html

ANN has this name listed as Nao Okezawa, Shou Hizawa, and Hisashi Okezawa. I'm not sure if the family name is Okezawa or Okesawa, either two are possible. Hisashi, Nao, and Shou are also possible readings for the given name...

Can anyone fluent in Japanese give some help? I tried googling 桶澤尚, but I can't really find anything regarding a reading.

Kay Bertrand (#17438)

Kaoru Bertrand (#52940)

They're the same person.

Can you combine the info under "Kaoru Bertrand". I used to use "Kay Bertrand" when I was mainly working on manga and Newtype magazine, but I've been using only "Kaoru Bertrand" (which is my real name) for my recent projects. "Kay" is just my nickname.

Thanks!

Tooru SYURA (#55342) is likely Toru SHURA (#14408) (different romanization of a composer who works for the animation studio ARMS). However, I have no proof.

Kei SHINDOU (51932) and Kei SAITOU (40083) are, in fact, the same person. Her debut was "Speed Grapher" (I watched the extras, so I remember her well).
Ironically, I just read about her today in the last issue of NewType USA. They spelled her name as SHINDO.
I don't know exactly as to which of the names are correct, but I thought I'd let you know to merge these two.

Thanks in advance!

Saori Itou Appears to be two people.

One (伊藤さおり) is half of comedy duo Hokuyou who has also done some voice work alongside her partner Mihoko Abukawa:

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/伊藤さおり_%28お笑い%29
http://www.p-jinriki.com/hokuyoh/main.html
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/北陽

Since she is unlikely to have done background art for Pretear and the Kanji in the listing is different (井藤早織) I'm assuming these are seperate people.

Aoi YūKI
Aoi YABUSAKI (former name)

Source: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/悠木碧

Besides that, the birth date matches too (from her profile on Yūki, and from Les Voix des Anges on Yabusaki, both sources independent of Wikipedia). Since she is in a lead role recently, I though this one may be important to combine. I noticed she had other anime roles besides Kure-nai looking on Japanese Wikipedia and was wondering at first why they weren't here.

apparently there is 2 ELISA

1st one is the one with the song "lost into the night" in initial D, I have no idea about her, except http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=AVCD-11678 credite her both as ELISA and ELIZA ~.~ , and this is from 1998 :O

then there is 2nd Elisa who is more recently, who sing euphoric field from ef - a tale of memories and Hikari(ED) in Nabari no Ou

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/list_from_code_banner.html?key=438855

To[u] Moriyama (#64037) is a pseudonym of Naoki Yamamoto (#6594). Proof: the English Wikipedia article (with a reference to an article in Japanese on Yamamoto's official site), the Japanese Wikipedia article, and the Moriyama and Yamamoto entries in PRISMS.
