So that's why they let all those sets go out of print. Good news for those who missed out on them, which is not my case.

When it comes to Aniplex, you don't buy their blurays just to watch them. You get them to collect and support the industry. I personally import UK blurays in order to avoid Aniplex prices, but that requires the right player. |

Welp, I'll essentially be re-buying half of these since I just need Onimonogatari, Koimonogatari, and Hanamonogatari, but I'm very revealed that I'll have the opportunity to get my Monogatari Series Blu-ray collection back up to date without too much trouble. I really shouldn't have put off trying to pick up these three.
And while it is expensive, I've seen some copies of Koimonogatari alone go for the same prince on the secondary market. Maybe I can unload my copies of Nekomonogatari (White), Kabukimonogatari, and Otorimonogatari on eBay to some people who might have just missed one or two of those? |

Well, that's kind of irritating, since I had bought half of these (Neko, Kabuki, and Otori) but now I won't be able to get the other half now that they're out of print. Guess I'll just have to get this...

On the bright side, the sale price for the box set isn't that much more expensive than getting the three individual sets we're missing would have been. And we can probably sell the old sets of Neko, Kabuki, and Otori off to make up the difference if we want. |

Aniplex's releases are the only releases I will NOT be buying. Obviously too expensive, so any release of theirs I will download & archive (Fate, Monogatari, Kara no Kyoukai, Rakuen Tsuihou to name a few).

It's about time. I had the first 2 boxes of monogatari but didn't buy anymore because I didn't want the 15 different sets for Second Season. A box of all of it was just what I wanted. Kinda annoying Tsukimonogatari isn't in this set though, I always saw it as part of Second Season

Just because you "saw it as part of Second Season" doesn't make it true. Tsukimonogatari comes from the "Final Season" set of books. Maybe they'll eventually release a Final Season box set to include Tsuki, Koyomi, Owari, Owari 2nd, and Zoku Owari. |
