Yep, all the boys must die in the first five minutes or less. In the manga, they are already dead, just revealed in flashbacks. Even then, there is only one, and he is just a faceless husk anyway. Since most Japanese live action anime movies don't make it over here, will probably never see it.

I don't think you have much to worry about, considering that in the manga he doesn't really appear in any other pre-incident scenes other than the ones represented by these stills.
