Each episode will last like 5 minutes including opening and ending if you cut the "improper" behavior from this(and both OP and ED might be shorter too)

most people will DDL the american release if they want it badly. Just hurts distributor sales in UK so if the cuts are deep then why not scrap UK release
|

Seeing that the BBFC have clearly lost the ability to distinguish between drawings and real life, I look forward to them revoking their certifications for Tom and Jerry on the grounds of extreme animal cruelty.

Saddened but not surprised by this, BBFC known for being censorious and the UK in general is getting so much worse with censorship and not just in media releases.
I would have bought this had it been released uncensored since I loved it when it aired but if it comes out now I know I can't touch it. Would just buy the US version even though I don't have a region free BD player. I would rather companies scrap releases than bow down to something like this since they are opening themselves up for more of this in the future. |

The UK has one of the world's harshest child pornography laws in the world, and yes, in the eyes of British Law, this may very well count as child pornography. Those downloading will risk a lot is it is deemed to be child porn... ...which I find absurd, really. |

There was a hentai years ago called La Blue called that got banned, not censored banned, because of a similar issue.

No, the BBFC found that it didn't violate the Coroners and Justice Act 2009, which means it is probably legal to possess. |

I don't understand why people are seeing the British in a bad way because they don't want to have media showing 15 year olds engaging in sexual acts. While it is a shame that it will be censored you have to respect their laws where the legal age to engage in sex is 16. By UK this anime showcases statutory rape and just because you love anime that doesn't mean it can been wrong to others.

It's also illegal to murder someone in the UK, but strangely that can be allowed even in a live action show with just a PG rating. |

Right, but there's nothing to stop you from ordering the overseas Funi release(The Australian release might have cuts too). Or, just download the rip from the net if circumventing region restrictions feels too bothersome... |

I see that the BBFC is taking censorship to the next level and I do wonder how far it will go. The treatment of fictional female characters as real people is getting more absurd with every passing year. I guess the next step would be for some country to pass a law that requires decency standards for adult fictional female characters.

Hahaha. Talk about over reaction. Try telling someone in China or North Korea that censoring some titty anime is taking censorship to the next level. Im not surprised by this. Why are they even bothering to try and release it in the UK? It's practically pornographic. It's as dumb a decision as releasing the latter seasons of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, which are also practically pornographic but are obvious loli unlike this drek. |
