Kinda surprised that RErideD is getting a dub. It’s easily one of the worst looking shows this season and I didn’t think there was a big interest in it.

Considering Adam lives in Houston and might be riding back and forth to Funi each week to record (SourceConnect might also be used), him getting the lead in "RerideD" is appropriate.

During the CR-Funi partnership a lot of crappy and/or shows that no one seems to care about have gotten dubs. I imagine this will not be the case going forward once the partnership ends.

I suspect it has something to do with the pedigree behind it: Yoshitoshi ABe's return to anime, along with the director of Steins;Gate, y'know? It'd be great if the show was actually good, tho.

This may be the first modern show I'm interested in enough to check out the dub.

Yup, I'm pretty sure that's why. It's also my personal reason for wanting to see it. Slight nitpick though, Takuya Satō is just one of the directors of Steins;Gate. The other director being Hiroshi Hamasaki, whose work on it I feel is just as important, if not more so. Would have been nice if the two of them could have returned for Steins;Gate 0.
The same goes for RErideD seeing as both of them have done ABe shows before.

Unlike how CR uploaded the first 4 subbed epi., Caitlin Glass told me on Twitter that they wouldn't be doing that for the Eng. dub in concerns of script preparation time. So, it's 1 Eng. dub epi. per week.

yeah, that was pretty obvious when they set a start date so far back. Regardless, thanks once again for the unnecessary update

You could be right. With them competing again, Funimation probably won't have access to as many shows. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if some shows got dubbed in some effort to hold up its part of the bargain. I guess we'll see going forward.

Well I guessed Brina Palencia, not Brittney Karbowski, so that's...half credit?
