This is much, muuuuuuuuuch better than Viz's ridiculous approach to "legal" fansubbing. But I really hope that this doesn't discourage ADV from letting GL get a proper TV airing on Adult Swim and Bionix. The show is too good to be restricted to their own proprietary forms of exhibition.

I see they haven't changed the ultra spoiler series description for it since yesterday...

Yay, another series - never heard of it before myself - looking forward to it.
I'll pay a subscription fee as long as there is enough content to watch... So dont assume nobody will pay for this service...

But offering the content for free is the entire point of this service.

Okay, I came across a wierd bug. For some reason, after the second ad shows up (after the first eyecatcher), for some reason it goes back to the main menu. When I go to click back on the episode, it loads another ad and plays from the beginning. I've tried to skip past the eyecatcher, but that isn't working, since it'll play the ad as well as the episode's sound. Then the process repeats again.
This is happening on both IE7 and FireFox2.0.

The same thing seems to be happening to me. Any one know a way around this?

TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGAAN! w00t! They'll have a hit with this to be sure, unfortunately I live in Ireland so no TTGL for me This is an excellent show to try this service out on, heck I'm surprised they were willing to experiment using such a blockbuster title...
Though I hope they keep the first three episodes or so online permanently

Wow, ANN looks awesome with the Gurren adverts!
Kudos to ADV too, for really pushing anime in the US forward! I'm looking forward to the Gurren Lagann dub most of all, though.
(Just as an aside; there's an awful lot of spelling, grammar and general sentence structure mistakes in that article that I found to be jarring)

I've reported this problem to ADV Films...
You can use the slider to jump to the second part of the show...

Awesome! Great job on this...it's an awesome first step.
I could definitely see myself paying for a subscription to a service like this one.
