This is so sad, i hope she is doing well in her family life. I'll miss her as the voice of Renamon from Digimon franchise, she did such an significant job as Renamon.
(Sorry for my poor English)

Looks like Rutee has finally stepped back from the battlefield to raise Kyle. (Tales of Destiny 2 reference)
Imai has been through a lot. I wish her only the best and a happy future for her and her son.

she also voiced Ruki's mother and grandmother. There's even a scene with the three talking to each other!

I was thinking I'd only heard her in the lone Banner of the Stars OVA that wasn't dubbed, but hey, she played Wakaba in Utena.

It was first Rutee that made me admire her work, well, as a Tales of fan, it has to be like that.
I'm pretty sad for this, and I wish for her, from the bottom of my heart, peace and strength to keep doing her best in any decision in her life.

For greater context, pervasive developmental disorder is considered an outdated term in the US and has been recategorized as part of the autism spectrum.

Thank you so much for bringing Rutee and Wakaba to life. Good luck and be happy.

In a way, this a poetically fitting end to her days of voice acting, as she played a character that became a parent, at the end of a series.
Good luck, Imai-san. We wish you the best for you and for your son.
Now I'll have to add more of her work to my collection.
Amazing how long it's been since I first heard her as Fairy Leviathan.

A bit sad to see her go, but I heard her in a few good things. I just finished watching Ah My Goddess and her role as Chihiro really made me like the character (even if she didn't appear that much). Also her Ran Chiki from Maze the Megaburst Space and Renamon from Digimon Tamers.
