This guy is just retarded. Not for his collection but for his behavior that tends to make it seems as if he just got out from a mental ward. Serves him right.

Due to symptoms of fever and pure mental damage, TheAnimeRevolutionizer cannot post anything totally coherent and relevant at this moment.
In turn, a following music video statement shall now be played. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcUrEYaZ3Yo We also advise that the following contents may not be safe for work nor mentally proper for any "normal and generally everyday plain people" of the 2010s decade. We shall now return to your original scheduled forum posting discussion. |

Loli hentai is basically child porn. Good riddance to him then. If he's that stupid he deserves what comes to him. |

Then shouldn't we arrest people for watching/possessing IT as it's basically child snuff? |

You think that's bad? There's a scene in the original novel that could make that book banned! |

Yeah I know and you can still buy 120 days of sodom on amazon with no issues a book which makes most loli doujins look tame. |

The Handley conviction is what lead me to become an anime/manga activist to help protect the rights of manga artists & their fans since 2012.

Considering how many followers he has on social media, it's probably not that much of a stretch to assume that someone he worked with saw his face on the internet just randomly. His biggest issue, in my opinion, is that he posts pictures of himself constantly, doing things that you probably should not be seen doing while apparently trying to maintain a corporate job. If he was supporting himself through his online presence, I could understand his openness. But not if he is relying on any sort of corporate job. |

will til end of the days think it's moronic to fine/jail etc people.. for fictional things.
Lolis shouldn't be considered same as children. 1. They aren't real. 2. In lot of cases lolis have much more adult personality than adults themselves. Especially if loli is some 20000000 years old demigod. There are childish lolis, who still aren't "children". And obviously there type of lolis I call toddlers. That is already different kind of fetish. Yet still, fiction is fiction. If person loves shooting games, does that mean he is automatically murderous psychopath who would take a gun and shoot people in real life because he likes shooting people in video games? Find series like "game of thrones" or so on much more in "not allowed" book than some 2D painted fictional lolis. :/ Moral of the story, mankind, when you even learn you moronic creatures. Issue that normies rule the world, masses with branded mindset, social justice warriors and so on. Those just corrupt world simply because they are just way too stupid to understand most of the stuff. |

I don't get it? Obviously that pile would get stuck in customs. If someone imports valuable goods, they need to pay taxes, and depending on the value, customs.
In order to pay taxes+customs, they hold your order and only release it when you show up with your invoice/bill/paypal etc. As these were bought at Comiket, this could prove to be tricky. I mean, I'm not from Switzerland but from a neighboring country, but how else could that possibly have played out? This happens every time I order Anime from Rightstuf. "Water is wet" kinda situation. Sending Loli by mail, on the other hand ... what was he thinking? edit: The longer I think about it, the less sense it makes to me. Like, *obviously* that many books would get stuck in customs, why is he painting himself as a victim openly on the internet? I could just as well claim that customs "seized" my Utena BD, but I was able to "win over" by giving them my receipt and handing over a few Euro. That's just what customs does. Presenting it as persecution is dishonest. Last edited by Coup d'État on Tue Aug 28, 2018 4:57 am; edited 1 time in total |

that's true, but that's filed under obscenity which is different from other countries. While there are specific variations of obscenity laws in the US, in general it can apply to anything including adult live action and non-loli content He also plead guilty rather than go to trial in order to get a reduced sentence (it's a tactic used by prosecutors all the time), so the underlying law can never be challenged. Back to melonpan, he's lucky that it was Switzerland and not other European country since there's no law fundamentally criminalizing that. I'm not surprised that such a large load is inspected by customs though. What I am surprised about is being so public with himself and his antics as opposed to posting more anonymously and only showing the anime/manga/figure material. I had known about him a few years ago but didn't really follow him and wondered about his employment. Well I guess I know now. Still I wish him luck |

Handley was given a choice: take a plea bargain or go through a jury trial to try to get dismissed based on the items not being obscene. Obsence laws are odd, as it claims that even if the work is professionally created through art and storytelling, "the work, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value". Also stated, was that it is available in Japan to the general population, but the U.S. is a different country, and has different laws. There were major arguments by the defense, including suggested age of characters depicted, as the defense claimed it could be hard to distinguish between a 16 year old (minor) and a 19 year old (non-minor) in real life. It is much harder with drawn and animated characters. In anime, characters could act and look young, but be old or could act and look old, but be young. In the end, the "appears to be" concept was used. So, the character could be 28, but appears to be 17, so it could be subjugated to this treatment. Since it was fictional characters, it had to fall under obscenity law, rather than child porn law. The case can be fully read at: https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/FSupp2/564/996/1407869/ Just a reminder though, Rightstufanime is located in Iowa too, and I'm pretty sure they sell some of the same stuff that Handley was charged with. I'm not going to list what these items are specifically, but some may even be worse than what Handley had. The fact that this other guy got questioned was the sheer number of items, as it is a red flag at customs. They probably thought he was going to sell them, or if they have similar obscenity laws as the U.S.; they may have been trying to figure out if he violated any laws. This could be an eye opener to hentai fans in Switzerland, as they may need to check Swiss laws to see if they might be charged with a crime. I still think it is stupid to get any attention and/or charged for a crime for buying/posessing "obscene" works that have no actual people in them, as well as being victimless crimes. The items were made and bought legally. |
