I've been encouraging people in my local Pokemon Go discord servers to catch Onix in his honor this week, and asked Niantic to give us a Shiny Onix to honor him.

That's a real tragedy to hear. Unshou-san was one of the avid old seiyuu that still known to the current generation of anime viewers, and worked until the very last moment.
Rest in peace.

So sudden, I really liked his voice. It's really great to see that he gets more works recently, and his works as Mr.Satan and Joseph were outstanding. My condolences to his family and friends.
May you rest well, you earn it.

This news hit me really hard, considering I’ve only just heard him yesterday in Banana Fish. R.I.P.
Another Legend is gone.

That's surprising, considering how recent some of his roles are. I'm not watching it, but isn't Banana Fish this season?
A shame, especially since that's rather young.

I cannot believe the original voice for Jet is dead, and right around the anniversary of Cowboy Bebop.
RIP Jet.

Oh no now we will get a re-cast in Banana Fish, I wonder how many more episodes he has recorded for.

He was amazing. My favorite role of his was One Piece's Kizaru, but I've enjoyed so much of his work. He'll be sorely missed.

I have no words...
He was a true legend, seriously.
Such a loss for anime.
