Captain Tylor I'm moderately interested in getting on Blu ray, the rest not so much...
I have the original Bandai Please Teacher! DVDs and never intended to upgrade.
Right Stuf is doing this now because the DVD market is dwindling on anime and more collectors want the Blu ray option/upgrade.
They were waiting for the Japanese remaster before doing the hi-def upgrade for these series I'd bet... At this point, they've sold all they're going to of these series on DVD.

The only way I'll get the Tylor Ultra Edition is if they include a bonus disc with the extras from the original DVDs that were dropped for the remastered sets. If not then I'll just get the Regular Editions since I did like the show.

How excellent, they'll be releasing Gravitation on Blu Ray.

I look forward to buying Gravitation on Blu-ray. I already have the DVD box but this show holds a special place in my heart.

It's not an upgrade though, is it? Won't PLEASE TEACHER and TWINS just be standard on blu-ray?

Funny, I was thinking about revisiting the Gravitation anime lately. I hated the manga with a passion but, remember the anime being better. So I just may buy it. Unless its going to stream somewhere I could watch it again first. Was the announcement just the TV episodes or the OVA too?
I still have the Please Teacher! Bandai release along with a bunch of other Please Teacher! stuff though. I’ve upgraded for some titles but, not feeling the need right now.

Both shows got upscaled for Blu-ray in Japan back in 2012 so it'll probably be the same as those sets.

Although it's something of a mystery as to why they're only now releasing Please Teacher / Twins on Blu-Ray, instead of back in 2015 when they first licensed them. Either they didn't believe in the BD format yet, the acquisition/authoring was too much of a financial risk, or the Japanese side didn't think 3 years was a long enough delay between JP and NA BD releases.

Let's just hope Aniplex doesn't notice. I always assumed that Nozomi had lost the license and that Gravitation was a "gone forever" title after seeing it listed as "Out of Print" on Rightstuf's site.

I remember Gravitation was one of Right Stuf's flagship titles and it was a pretty popular anime with fujoshi for years but it feels like it kind of faded out of fandom spotlight over the years, so I'm glad to see it being re-released.
