Haha, no Futari Ecchi in stores. I haven't read that in a long time. I guess it's understandable. It'll be like porn in a bookstore. Especially with some of the sex advice the manga gives. And no amount of plastic wrapping will prevent a curious person from taking a look. It may be sort of like a sex manual, but it's still a graphic novel in which the characters have sex.
Anyway, it's nice that they're also doing Fate/stay night. But someone please bring over the Haruhi Suzumiya novels...

I don't understand why retailers wouldn't carry Futari Ecchi. Can't they just put it in the sexuality section? It's practically the same kind of thing there. If they can carry the Letters to Penthouse, etc, why can't they carry this? I think it's just because it's manga and they think they are expected to put it in the manga section.

I was thinking the same thing, but I don't think it's quite the same. Romance novels don't have pictures. If they did, then those would probably not be accepted either. Or at least be hid or locked up. I think Borders locks up some things and you have to request to see them.

I hope they release all of Futari Ecchi. I hate having incomplete series, and Tokyopop is already pissing me off with Scrapped Princess and Kino no Tabi.
I'm looking forward to F/SN.

I can understand but considering they do actually have porn in bookstores. At least, the books describing "How to have sex" that just chill in the open non-wrapped with huge pictures. With detailed views of positions and naked male/female bodies.
Right next to the puzzles and Sudoku. Hm.
Seems to me its saying real life porn is fine but drawn comic style is a no no. Which seems kind of stupid.

I'm not sure if I like or dislike that Gothic Lolita Bible is going to be like Newtype USA in that it's a mix of original Japanese content and American content.
