Wait, so we won't be seeing the ending in the anime? This is kind of a slap in the face considering episode 12 is the climax. Well here's hoping for OVAs

All anime adaptations are essentially television commercials for the original material.

Whenever I'm bored and just randomly pick an anime to start watching, such as this one, I always get to the end and something like this happens.
I always tell myself "research the show before you hit play." But do I ever do that? No. No I do not.

While plenty of anime are guilty of this, this series was one of the most notorious trainwrecks in a long time, so the chances of it getting to adapt the full series are sadly pretty much zero.

Why would the anime have the same ending as the source material if the source material is still ongoing and the anime is running or was running concurrently with it?
