Hell yes! Sign me up! Glad to see it's happening and so soon too. If they'd done season 2 and then left it for good, it would have been pretty disappointing.

It would be nice is season 3 - unlike season 2 - actually focussed on the "Overlord' in question.

That’s great! I’ve been hoping for a season 3 and now my wish has come true. Season 2 was quite enjoyable for what it set out to do and I’m definitely looking forward to season 3 in July. Just awesome news to start out my day.

Simply amazing news was hoping for a 3rd season which would be perhaps in 2years~ but seeing it will take only few months just awesome !!!!!!!! Super excited for summer season, now we just need SAO new arc for summer aswell and i am in heaven ^-^

I really liked season 1 and season 2 was okay but it was more about world building in season 2 and I hope season 3 gives focus back on Ainz again though I wouldn't mind if some other Nazarick members get some screen time

THIS JULY?!?! Wow this was an unexpected but welcome surprise! I’ve loved the second season way more than the first, and the fact that they are only taking a single cour break between 2 and 3 proves that it was planned from the beginning.

No worries, in season 3 (novel volume 7-9) you will have plenty of "Ains/Momo" actions, although it will also be significantly darker than previous seasons |

Darn... I really was hoping this would expand on the material teased at the beginning of season 2 which season 2 seems to be completely ignoring (haven't seen the final ep yet). The lizard arc was amusing, but it also felt like a total throwaway story after being teased with what seems like the real plot. I seriously hope that arc plays a significant role in events later on to justify all the time spent on it. |
