Now that Anime Strike's out of the way, what are the chances of Crunchyroll snatching this up from Sentai? They're localizing the mobile game, after all, so there'd definitely be a reason for them to want to do so.

Hell Yea !!!! what amazing news to see first thing in the morning, if only it wouldnt take this long but atleast we finnaly gonna get the long await sequel with an movie even. And srsly so many anime going for the movie route it rly seems like there they can make the most money to be able to fund next season etc.

Well, it was either Season 2 of the main series or an adaptation of the Ryuu spinoff, but I'm pretty sure that spinoff doesn't quite have enough chapters yet. Throw in Sword Oratorio and they could keep regular adaptions on air as long as the novels keep selling.

Crunchyroll have a high chance snatching this from Sentai since Sentai no longer getting backed by Amazon fund.

Danmachi is based of a light novel, not manga and the problem with adapting episode Ryuu is that it only has 1 volume so at best it would be OVA

I imagine the new season of Dungeon Girls will stream on HiDive since Sentai has the rights to all the previous seasons and HiDive is where all of Sentai's new simulcast licenses are streaming at.
