First announcement and I'm already frustrated by Anime Strike. Why can't they just go away and stop ruining our hobby. Greedy little muckers.

So far 0% of the anime that Amazon has simulcast has gotten a dub. Considering how much bad PR they have gotten from Anime Strike it is sad that they are stubborn about staying in the anime market and yet are completely unwilling to improve their service.

Hopefully this and Inuyashiki are the only ones to get the Strike exclusivity this season. I know Sentai is gonna license Umaru Chan R, but the first season is not on Strike, while the first is both subbed and dubbed on HiDive. I'd very much prefer CR getting worldwide streaming rights, but if Sentai does get it hopefully they won't have to put it on Strike.
Though there are others that might go to Sentai, like Girls' Last Tour, which would be a shame cause I'm looking forward to that one.

Regardless, I had Strike for a couple months, and i have to say I was disappointed with the service and didn't feel it was worth the money. I'd much rather pirate the few they get per season.

Welp, RIP UQ Holder. Crying or Very sad

Also this is the first of the Fall sequels to series FUNi owns the rights to to be gobbled up by Amazon/Sentai. Hopefully that ends here and the bastards don't get Blood Blockade Battlefront or Love Live! Sunshine!!.

They have Hidive and they're still relying on Anime Strike?

This will be an interesting English dub. Can Sentai even get Laura Bailey to voice Evangeline? Not to mention the multitude of Funi voice actresses that voiced Negima and pretty much moved on. Cherami Leigh lives in Los Angeles now, and she voiced at least four characters if I recall.

Take what you will, Anime Strike, but if you get your mitts on Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, I will be highly upset. Evil or Very Mad

Hearing those complaints seems like Anime Strike is not doing any good with anime fans and hopefully, with all of the hate, it not gonna last long.

I am glad I was not looking forward to this particular anime and now it is a fact that I will not check it out.

And Amazon have money.

Amazon don't really care about people moaning and complaining around on twitter and forums. You're naive to think AS will go away any time soon, especially with after Amazon signed the exclusivity deals with Noitamina and Animeism and after how they went all out to make a completely new anime streaming service from scratch. They'll be around for at least 2 more years for now, imo.

Well looks like the only really good show Amazon will get this season is Inuyashiki.

The pay walls arisen to new heights.

More walls they make, worse things will get for the anime industry.
Maybe in year or more I'll be able to see it.

UQ Holder isn't posed to be very good adaption, so it may not be a loss. Sad
