Aletta cut that crepe cone into small portions and somehow they turned into mini cones. The cook dude getting startled when the black dragon girl suddenly spoke to him was funny though.

Pretty relaxing episode. I was somewhat expecting:
1. The queen to say the crepe was poison so she could eat all of it. 2. When "many months later" was shown on screen it made me think they would show us overweight fairies in need for other world exercise regime. 3. The fairies to start a war over what crepe to eat next.. What did played as expected was the elves not saying how cheese is really made. |

It was definitely interesting to see the fairies eating human sized foods, which I think is a good use of its fantasy setting, using fantasy races that not only look different but are also different sizes than humans.
While I'm on the topic of fairies, I would like to make a suggestion, if I may, with regards to this:
I think it would be helpful if the reference was made a little more clear. I figured it out after looking up the second one, but I must admit that it went over my head after the first one (searching for Mustardseed was not very fruitful). You wouldn't need to change the text, as a link pointing to the reference would be sufficient. |

There was a lack of animation with the fairies that was somewhat noticeable, but I'm not going to complain overmuch.
The mention of there being a potential riot if the queen doesn't get her tiny butt in gear was funny, but suggests there might be a slight....shall we say, corrupting influence to the restaurant, if only because it's shaking up the status quo of so many cultures and people. Of course, fairies are notorious in most depictions for being, let's call it, passionate and flighty. Christian's little monologue about youth was also really nice. A small admonishment about not getting stuck in your ways, be adventurous, more like the younger generation. Somewhat ironic considering we mostly only see the regulars having their favorite dishes with little to no evidence they've ever tried anything else. Of course, aren't most of us guilty of that? Especially at a restaurant, where we don't want to order something we aren't sure we'll like, wasting money and food. |

Sorry, zrnzle500. I got a little over-nerdy there and forget that not everyone has my abiding love of that play.
You're absolutely right - I'm very much guilty of it. It's an element of the show I'm not sure how to feel about: on the one hand, it's really realistic. On the other, it works against the show in terms of moving things along. Can't have it all, I guess. |

I guess it helps then being someone who likes a variety of foods. Sure I always have go-to's, but when experiencing a new restaurant I like to try a variety of things to see which I feel they do best to match my tastes. Usually by the time that I've been to a particular restaurant many times I've tried many of their dishes and have settled from among several that I like best, so from an outsider's perspective it looks like I'm just being a creature of habit.

The restaurant is only available once a week and it is food that is not available to them anywhere else. While I can see trying various dishes on the menu (within reason) I don't see any problem with sticking with what you like.

Vice and Luna: The Animation!
Does anyone know what the valuable seed was that Tiana gave to Victoria or is that something that will (hopefully) be revealed later? |

Do vegetarians like natto more or something? But yeah, the fairies caught everyone's interest instead.

Hey could someone give me some details on the drink they had in the show today(episode 11). It is one I have never heard of before and where is it popular.

Here's what I found. Apparently it's made from yogurt among other ingredients, and is from part of the Indian subcontinent. I hadn't heard of it before this episode and looked it up immediately afterwards. |

Probably worth mentioning that if this is the same drink I sampled as a child, it's the tart kind of yogurt drink, not a sweet one. ^^;;; Also I can't seem to find any concrete info on whether this show is one cour or two. Is next week the final episode? |

Looking at recipes online, it seems the drink can go different ways in terms of flavors, from savory to sweet, depending on what you put into it. As to the episode count, there hasn't been any announcement, but unless it is two cours, the next episode will be almost certainly the final one, as the disc sets on the official website only go up to episode 12. |

I highly doubt those "sirens" were siblings, all this talk about making a nest means only one thing, laying eggs and before that, copulating. Seems Rebecca repeated the same mistake most viewers did on Monster Musume, where they thought that Papi was underage because she is petit when in fact she is a splendid adult (for her species).
Also, was I the only one to notice that Kuro spoke thru her mouth at the end of the episode? Kuro was just shy, no venomous fumes appeared when her lips were not sealed. You know you have played too much D&D when you expected Kuro to have the Sirens for dinner for charming the wimpy human and tiefling. |
