I mean he's not wrong. The series does conclude like any normal series although with a little rushed ending.
Either way, loved Gundam X! One of my favorite gundam series. Hopefully Rightstuf brings the Blu-ray over.

He's not wrong. It wasn't canceled it was cut short. Too bad, I would have loved them to expand on the whole New Type thing. I enjoyed this show, flaws and all. Garrod and Tifa are the most adorable couple in the Gundam universe.

The second best Gundam series of the 1990s, passed only by Wing Gundam. I was always disappointed that they ended up cutting this one short.

Gundam X is unique in that it's the one entry in the franchise that no one seems to really hate. About the worst thing anyone has ever said about it is that it's main villains are underwhelming (which is true but Gundam has had much worse ones.) Otherwise, it's a good solid show were everything else works even the rushed ending.
I still think of what could have been if this had aired on Toonami in 2001 instead of the original MSG.

Always wanted to know what was the original script and draft if the show wasn't shorted like it was.

It's only been a few months since I first watched this show and I already forgot it existed. If this Blu-ray ever does get a release over here I don't think it's something I'll be double-dipping on.

Actually I hate to say it but I've seen a video on Youtube of an Internet Critic not liking this show and finding it disappointing, can't remember who it was, I think it was part of TGWTG's team. Pretty much they understood apparently why the show got cut short.

One of the only Gundams with decent romantic progression and it concluded it as well.

This was an ok entry in the franchise and I always believed it wasn't cancelled but there were a lot of factors behind the scenes that kept it from being successful: The toy sales weren't great and well, the suit designs imho are straight garbage. Also, it kept being put in bad time slots so the ratings tanked (much like the original series did) and both had somewhat rushed endings because of this.
The series did fufill the purpose of explaining what Newtypes actually are vs. the UC century's interpretation of them which I like X's version of and the Frost brothers were decent antagonists and currently this is the only entry where the main characters didn't kill off the antagonists such as them and chose to let them live to repent. Beyond that, it's fine with me as a series but it's not at the top of my let's watch Gundam list because there's far higher entries and it's in the low-tier.

Yeah, because it was...cancelled...
Seems like an attempt to retroactively gussy up the situation. I'm a little sympathetic, but c'mooon.

Let's be fair, Wing didn't kill off Zechs or Lady Une and he reformed afterwards to be a good guy alongside her in Endless Waltz. The only one who did get it in the show was Treize. Which I guess is fitting since he was the primary antagonist. And then you have Mariemaia who walks away from Endless Waltz, most likely due to how young she is., and
Seed Destiny didn't Kill Shinn or Lunamarie either So no I think Gundam X wasn't the first or only entry to have an antagonist not killed off by the protagonists to repent. Though I get that Wing was rather murky at the end on Zech's fate.

Yes! I'm very happy to hear that Gundam X is coming to BD. Now I just have to wait until it's brought over and I can finally pick it up

Ouch... the BD is quite costly. I think I'll just wait for a xmas sale to grab this or let some years pass before purchasing one...
But cancelled or not, it concluded fine. Garodo and Tiffa were the first Gundam characters I saw on local TV back 1998. They basically ignited my Gundam cells

Otherwise known as "Canceled."
Its a low tier Gundam indeed. It isn't that it is bad, but essentially fails to stand out. Victory and Wing, X's contemporaries, when it jumped the shark you could enjoy trashing the aspects that went bad.
X? it manages.

I finished rewatching the DVD's about a week ago now and it definitely doesn't feel like it got cancelled. They were still able to complete the story, in a hurry or not, with a good conclusive ending.
Of course now that I just watched the DVD a BD box is announced. Right Stuf will probably get on that one mid-2018.
