Of all Digimon on the cover, why is it Tyrannomon?

I will forever envy anyone who gets their hands on this art book.
Probably because it was the first digimon ever created |

I wonder, will it all just be of the monsters? When will the anime have an official artbook?

I kinda want this, but it will probably only feature the digimon that are present in the first season/games.

Toei has released two or three anime-centric databooks; the big one covering the first five series (Adventure -> Savers) is the Digimon Animation Chronicle. |

I haven't bought a Digimon book in something like 15 years but there were plenty of books for the first three series and, while most weren't artbooks as such, they contained plenty of art. V-Jump brought out two "Daizukan" books for each of the series from Adventure through to Tamers (don't recall them doing ones for Frontier and I haven't really paid much attention since then). I did make a list of the books I have here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Shiroi_Hane/Resources#Digimon And some random scans here: http://digimon.thenexxus.org/scans/ |

Looking at that art reminds me of one of the reasons I love Digimon. So good.
I'm interested in that secret info and staff interviews. Should be a great read. |

Now, if Toei could speed up the release of those new movies.
