Not the best but I guess it's the only replacement we can get instead of NY Times manga ranking.

BookScan is actually a lot better than NY Times as at the end of the year they actually give numbers (or at least, I have only seen yearly lists, maybe they also have monthly if you pay for them).

Hot damn, My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness make it #11! I'm trying to think of another yuri manga that made it to the Bookscan's top 20.

I'm glad to see My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness is managing to do so well. There's been a lot of positive buzz about it outside of the usual circles too, so that's probably helped it. It's also the only manga on the list that isn't shonen/seinen.

(As a side note, the link in the forum seems to link to a different article in February, and I don't think Boruto has 14 volumes yet.)

It's supposed to be volume 1, thanks for pointing that out. We corrected the article.

To find out the BookScan fees, use the "Nielsen Publishers Marketplace BookScan Enrollment Form" page from the Publishers Marketplace site. An example of the high costs is "$2,500 for a single annual subscription, and for the first user at an agency".

That's impressive to see Ancient Magus Bride being up there with the big name shonen action titles like My Hero Academia. I need to check this out sometime.

I'm not surprised it's selling well. I figured it must be pretty popular after there were quite a lot of people who turned up at 7 pm on a Wednesday to see it in my local podunk theater.

There was literally three people, myself included, seeing Your Name at the same place.

Berserk made the list, as expected. Was hoping it would rank higher though...

Oh it's Seinen. Ask Mt. Lady.

It's draw with covers like MHA isn't it? Two FUNimation licenses by similar imagery inspired.

Unless it's cover story related I really don't care too much.

[Edit]: combined your multiple posts. Errinundra
