Rindou's VA in the upcoming OVA is Shizuka Ito, so it'll probably be the same in the 3rd season. Additionally, Tsukasa's VA is Akira Ishida, Momo's VA is Rie Kugimiya, Nene's VA is Kana Hanazawa, and Kuga's VA is Yuki Kaji. |

It looks up-to-date because the new characters are also listed there. But I'm not 100% sure about it. http://shokugekinosoma.com/character/erina.html |

Well I hope you are right, it would be great to have Risa back as Erina. I haven't seen the OVAs yet, so I can't really judge Hisako's version of the role. Either way I'm ready for this food politics revolution and the revolution within that revolution. |

That's the beauty of multiple revenue streams! And streaming especially. We see shows that "sold poorly" getting sequels ALL THE TIME these days guys. Lets put to bed the idea that disc sales are the be all end all. |

Great news, this series is one of the best I've seen in the last five years and, I kid you not, it actually has a lot more heart and genuine emotion than a lot of dramas (always taking about anime series).

I'm very glad this is getting another season, which I certainly wasn't expecting, since the manga's sales appear to have plateaued despite the anime's promotion. And the second season's pacing was fine in my opinion.

Exciting news! A lot of good stuff has been going on in the manga since the anime's ending point. Looking forward to seeing it all adapted!
But the first two seasons are available on Crunchyroll and Hulu... Or has there been a recent change? |

You know there´s another method to end S3 of Soma in 20+ episodes? It´s called "the author can give the plot points of the rest of the current arc to the production team and they animate that. because at the end of the day, it will be the same as the manga, but it´ll be cool to see it in animation first to not let anime-only viewers crazy and dissapointed with a stupid cliffhanger". I´d love this is done more often. And don´t mention me Akame Ga Kill because the manga is a TOTAL SHIT TO BEGIN WITH so anime-only viewers don´t need to read the whole thing.

This most recent season, all of Sentai Filmworks' simulcasts were exclusive (in the US at least) to Anime Strike, or in 2 cases Anime Network Online. This past week ANO announced they're scrapping their simulcast service, and their most recent shows have showed up on the brand new HiDive. Given that Sentai has licensed the first 2 seasons, it's reasonable to assume they also have an in to do the same for S3. So unless something goes on between CR and Sentai between seasons (which I doubt) S3 will most likely be on Amazon. On the topic of the announcement, I'm excited! Though I'm curious how much of the series they plan to adapt with this season. I could see them going up through spoiler[the Fall festival] and ending with spoiler[the start of the advancement exams] but that'd take them pretty close to where the manga is at the moment. |
