Looks great! But if my gundam's gonna be shining like that all the time in the game then it'll be a huge disappointment. I want to see the actual color of the gundam i'm using and not shining like that with different hues.

That's the gear system at work. Similar to Rage mode in Tekken where it builds up getting hit or hitting. They were showing all of the specials the units had which can only be done during gear activation.

You can dl the Trial version and play an hour at a time every Thursday and Saturday from 9pm to 10pm JST. I highly suggest if you don't already investing in an arcade stick for this game. Controller is usable but you're going to hit a quick wall that wont be overcome without one in terms of skill.

That was for the most part every suit doing their ultimate attack which you can only do during your Gear (timed power up that makes you shine blue or orange). If you're not familiar with the game, I think doesn't do a very good job showcasing how the game plays. You only shine a very small portion of the time, and the game is not about running up to someone and unloading some long, flashy combo.

Lol, that is laughably ignorant. Lots of the top tier players use controllers. The new controls also make the stick layout clunky. I'm not saying stick is worse. They're both perfectly viable.

Looks really nice, wish it was on Xbox, also would love to G-Gundam dlc and have a mode for the grunt mecha.

I guess to each their own. I quickly swapped back to the stick after the first day because I found it near impossible for me to play with a controller. I thought stick had a lot better control setup than the controller for this.

I'm a bit upset there's no Age, X, G, or 0080, Kinda laughing at the lack of Seed Destiny. I guess you gotta leave room for stuff for Gundam Versus 2

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm guessing the trial version is only available from the JP PS store right? If so I guess I'll need to make a JP account and check it out, thanks for the info either way.

I'm not sure if it is only on the JP PSN. I can tell you it is not on any NA/EU PSN. It might be on the HK PSN.

Yeah I don't remember seeing it on the NA PSN, but I do have a HK PSN account too so I'll have to check there later.

The roster is pure sad. I mean they add too much grunt units which players may later get bored to use it because underpowered. They give too much MS for Zeta. We dont need Marasai, Methuss, Hizack,Nemo.. Just the Zeta, Mk-II, Hyaku Shiki, and Rick Dias.
Gundam 00 is missing Gundam Virtue, no season 2 and movie version.
No Seed Astray, no 0080 War In Pocket, no Gundam Sentinel, no Blue Destiny, no Hathaway's Flash.
I think the arcade version is more fun than this brand new made game.
