Your boruto time is off (You say 5:25 pm)

Crunchyroll site says http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-985789/spring-2017-lineup

As Naruto Shippuden comes to an end, we have exciting news to share! Crunchyroll will be streaming BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS this Spring!

Episode 1 will be launching on Wednesday, April 5 at 2:25am PT for Crunchyroll members worldwide ex Japan, and Premium members in French-speaking territories. (Please note that subtitles will not be available in French)

How surprising... I hope Crunchyroll handle their own subtitles on this one, it's painfully obvious when Funimation is in charge of the subs, since they use garbage like this:

-- Dialogue.
-- Dialogue from another character.

And the typesetting is noticeably worse than what Crunchyroll typically put out.

To be fair, the original announcement on CR said pm too.

Hopefully AoT will also be simulcast by CR like it was the first time.

Thank you Crunchyroll. Even if AoT S2 is delayed cast by 1-2 weeks, I will still take that over resubscribing to Funimation for just one show.

I wonder why Funimation didn't push for a simulcast on Toonami. Did they blow their capital with Dimension W?

I heard AoT will apparantly only be 12 episodes.... pretty bummed about that.
I hope it's just a split cour thing, at the very least.

More likely it's an issue of getting the material ahead of time to produce a simultaneous dub for a US TV broadcast too. AoT Season 1 had some pretty well-documented issues with getting episodes finished for the TV airings, and WIT doesn't have the greatest reputation for staying on-schedule with production anyway.
