Awesome. I had no idea Stan Lee was collaborating on another anime project, and one that's so much closer to his traditional work than Heroman. Will definitely be watching this when it comes out.
This also reminded me that Heroman never got that second season though.
I miss Heroman.

They're getting better. Grimgar was a big step up.

@v1cious You're thinking of A-1, who are the ones who did Grimgar.
Staff is more important than studio when considering where the buck stops for anime, as for most anime studios (with the prominent exception of KyoAni), the relevant staff are freelance (animators, directors etc.) though connections are important.
And frankly, looking at the entirety of Deen's repertoire, the evidence for such a reputation is underwhelming. They are not the best studio in terms of animation, but they are hardly consistently bad, and there is definitely some good animation to be found within their body of work.

Deen have only had 1 goal since 2016, to save anime. They seriously stepped their game up so I'm actually looking forward to this.

All of this. DEEN has a lot of pretty nicely animated work. But regardless, the PEOPLE working on the show matter a lot more than the Studio. This being DEEN means almost nothing.

Because they were caught making racist remarks, which angered a lot of people, and then their public image took a nosedive and rarely found any work again.
No wait, that's the wrong Deen.

Anyone ever play DC Universe Online? Plot sounds a lot like it.

I haven't watched Heroman yet, but it looks good. I like Stan Lee, and I like Bones' mecha, and it has an awesome opening theme, so I'll check it out when I get the chance.
As for this, I think it looks interesting. I don't watch a whole lot of anime as it airs, but I'll try to do so with this. I just hope that Stan Lee makes a video announcement like he did Heroman....

I'm actually eager to watch this project. I cannot help but be sweated away by Stan Lee's enthusiasm. I also like the director working on this show. I have no clue what to expect but I will gladly wait for this Japanese cartoon to air
