I'm kinda surprised no one from Vertical's gonna be there, but you New Yawkas are lucky.

Just went to the new store Tuesdsay morning. While I loved the atmosphere at the old store more the new store is far more organized. The manga section is broken up by publishers and those sections are labeled in English and Japanese.
I heard the old store is still open. I'm gonna have to visit one last time.

What are their prices like, MSRP? I stop in Manhattan every month or so, if the prices are reasonable I'd rather support a local store than online.

I was in the SF store last weekend and they appeared to be the same as B & N. XXXHOLIC was 10.95 (English edition) my Bleach calendar was 22 and it one of those big poster types, the Saiyuki one I ordered a few years ago online was about that price.

I would like to take a visit to the new location as I'll be attending the New York Anime Festival (I'm surprised they aren't doing any special events for that weekend, like cosplay day) Well, it's still over five weeks away, so maybe they'll have something planned. In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing their expanded manga section as well as the mural (if I can pry myself away from the convention, that is).
