It looks literally and thematically dark. Never played the games, but I'm excited for more serious hand-drawn animated series for an older audience produced in the west.

I haven't seen any info on the "type" of animation yet, have you seen any info regarding the method of animation? I'm praying it's not the cg they've been using for some of their other series.

Frederator has been using cgi on shows? I mean beyond that everything they do is probably animated in adobe Illustrator with vectors. Adventure Time/Steven Universe/Bravest Warriors are all really 2D to me.

Sorry, I was referring to Netflix's use of cg in general. Didn't know if the studio or whatnot mattered. Anyway, if it's not the cgi then that makes me happy.
