I can't say anything on the current singer choice, but I'd love any future seasons of Hero Academia to use a Japanese-language rendition of Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For a Hero for the OP. Like this rendition by J-pop singer Koyanagi Rumiko back in 1987.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_Mnrjv02dk 2nd would be Mariah Carey's Hero as the ED, but that might be stretching the budget for music rights too much. Plus that thing about OPs/EDs used by music companies on the anime production committee to advertise a new song/album by local singers. |

I love Little Glee Monsters!! They are a really great singing group!! But if I could remember so their music is partially owned by Avex. So, does that mean we won't get the release here overseas??
