Good series people should really check it out, it's pretty sweet and all the characters are likable. There's honestly no 1 main character, or even one main group, the "Main cast" is like 20 plus different competitors all with unique stories and personalities
Now that it's over part of me wants it made into an anime just because dancing inherently works better in motion than it would on a static manga page.

I'm sad they axed it. It was like Ballroom E Youkoso's cute little sister.

Yeah, it's been consistently high-to-mid tier rank wise, anywhere between 5th and 9th place. Thats pretty good, nudging out titles like PSI Kusuo Saiki-Kun and Samon the Summoner.
The series coming to it's conclusion to years after it's debut is a good sign, and i'm looking forward to catching up eventually.

Aw man! This series was fun and adorable. I can see why it would be easing to an ending rather than being able to go on forever, but I figured we'd get more of it than we did. Shame, that.

Bummer. I was hoping this got an adaptation at least before it got cancelled or reached a conclusion.

Meh, can't be that good if it's getting axed.

As many others have said above this wasn't axed or canceled it reached it conclusion and came to an end. The series is actually quite good I would recommend it.

Not getting axed, this is a natural ending.

Unpopular opinion: I found this manga a lot more enjoyable than Welcome to the Ballroom and I believe this should have gotten an anime adaptation instead. I seem to have very different opinions from others online when it comes to sports anime and manga. My favorite sports anime are Yowamushi Pedal and Cheer Boys. I think Haikyuu, Chihayafuru, and Yuri on Ice are good anime, but I just find them to be pretty overrated.

I kind of forgot about this series after Viz's Shonen Jump stopped including it. I knew it did decently in the rankings right from the start, but I don't ever see anyone speaking about it.
At least, based on the first few chapters, I wouldn't have pegged this series as one to end quickly. I figured it would've run its course like a sports manga, with the main characters getting into competitions as underdogs, winning some and losing some.
It'd be weird if The Promised Neverland winds up being longer than this one, considering that series is basically a prison break story, and the story would either end or dramatically change direction once they escape.
