Hoping Macross makes it in since we'll be able to play this via the Asian version having English subtitles. Makes me wonder if there's legal stuff involved preventing Macross characters from receiving English subtitles, even if it's technically not coming to the US.
February though? A lot faster than expected. Nice! I have some time off from work. Will try to wrap up Super Robot Wars OG Saga The Moon Dwellers or at least take a huge chunk out of it.
I'm also praying for Shin Godzilla since he made the last Japanese cell phone Super Robot Wars game but won't hold my breath. Fingers crossed though!

I just gotta say this, Why in the hell do we keep seeing articles about the super robot war games when we're never going to see a legitimate US release? sure yeah there's english subs for the asian but not everyone enjoys chasing subtitles while they're beating the shit out of an opponent

Even if the game came here and it did get dubbed there's no way in hell they would keep all of the actors who previously dubbed them to reprise their roles. Either the company won't care, the actors won't care or some of them will be busy doing something else.
For big productions like these I'm fine with Japanese dialog since I know the seiyuus will be consistent.
I still have nightmares about the dubbed Samurai Champloo game. How can you not get Steve Blum to reprise his role? That guy will narrate you opening a letter for a bill statement if you ask him.
Anyway at least in Moon Dwellers, there's no subs during attacks. If anything you'll read the sub before the attack starts so you know ahead of time what they are saying in some cases. But there is bits of dialog not subbed.

There shouldn't be. Some of the newer Macross releases in Japan have had English subtitles on them. The second release of the two Frontier movies, as well as Delta have English subtitles on the Blu-ray Discs

the dub for me isn't the big issue, my issue is to me this is constant teasing about a game I can't readily get without importing an asian release copy. my issue is I keep seeing these articles wanting to play them but in the grand scheme of things I can't because I can't afford it at the time and don't want to run the risk of spending that money for it to be lost in transit and not get a refund
