It makes me sad that no one dressed us as a Durarara character, even though this took place in Ikebukuro.

Mario cosplayed by a politician.
That's all that matters to me.

Koike looks great as Princess Sapphire! And Takano just looks so happy to be Mario in that first pic. I guess Sakashita is Gendo Ikari? I don't recognize the cat-mask costume. Looks pretty good though. I can just imagine how pathetic our politicians and business leaders would look cosplaying.

@Gina Szanboti - The "cat-mask costume", judging from the patterns on said mask, is Nakigitsune from Touken Ranbu. He is actually meant to be fox-themed, but Nakigitsune normally has a small fox to do the talking for him.
Otherwise, the cosplays are really spot on...

Mr. Sakashita-san looks commending and composed in his cosplay of Gendō.

@ lostbirdinatree: Thanks! I knew it looked familiar, and Touken Ranbu would've been my guess, but I wasn't sure. I'm terrible at recognizing cosplay, no matter how perfect it is, and his was pretty perfect (sans fox).
