Although he wouldn't need much makeup, I suspect it's voicing CGI. (And arguably better than Japan's, but on a Netflix-original budget, not by much.) |

He doesn't need costume or CGI,he's creepy looking enough already
 Excellent choice though for the character. Each announcement is getting me more and interested in this

I really can't think of a better actor to play Ryuk... I definitely don't feel the same way about the other casting choices, but new actors have to start and grow somewhere...
