The current lineup is horrible, so change is good in this case.

Quote: | 4Kids will move its Saturday block from the Fox Network. |
Actually this is incorrect. 4Kids recently renewed their contract with Fox to keep 4KidsTV until at least 2009. 4Kids will now control Saturday morning program for BOTH Fox & the CW.

It's a sad note for television. I think Kids' WB will be remembered more for it's original stuff, especially from the 90's and the stuff it brought over from Fox.

I dunno...other than stuff like 'Ozzy and Drix', 'Da Boom Crew', and "Captain Coconuts'-something-or-other, Kids WB has given some good stuff (Cardcaptors, Sailor Moon, etc), and not ALL of it's original programming sucked (Static Shock was cool, sorta).
I see this as bad. 4Kids is taking over Saturday Morning programs. And, honestly, which would you prefer; Sonic X (4Kids-ified), or Static Shock?

Yeah, I remember watching Animaniacs and Freakazoid with my dad growing up. I can't help but feel WB's new originals aren't as good as the ones from the 90s (which seemed to be more "whole family" oriented) but I can't judge that since growing up and out of Warner Brothers gags may also be a factor.
All right 4kids, time to step up to the plate and maybe pull yourselves outta the losses.

Wow Both Fox and CW this sucks oh well Kids WB was good *Tho once 2002 rolled around it really started to suck* While it lasted I kinda feel sorry for the kids who watch Saturday Morning Cartoons It looks like actually good Saturday Morning Cartoons are a thing of the past.

Kids WB kind of went under over the years..
It will surely be remembered though.

But what about The Batman?! I love that show!
I wish they'd bring back Histeria or Animanicas. Hell- I think if they showed the older shows again they'd have higher ratings.
Thats when they had good shows. I have tapes at home when they had the good stuff. I loved Pikachu's jutebox.
How sad the crap gets crappier.

CardCaptors is liscened by Nelvana,FireChick. So you're never going to see that(Not necessairly a bad thing) unless Nelvana takes control of a block(Possibly FOX in 2009, unless Illumitoon strikes).
Also, Dinosaur King, which is anime still airs in the 4Kids Block(or atleast recently).

Wow. Feel kinda weird, because when I was a little elementary school kid, I always watched Kid's WB, usually sacrificing my sleeping in to watch Pokemon. Even furthur back in my life to watch Animaniacs and Tiny Toons with my brother. It seemed to me at that time that Kid's WB would last forever. However, I stopped watching that block and I have no idea the quality of its more recent shows.

Animaniacs and Tiny Toons were FoxKids shows long before they were on KidsWB (was Tiny Toons ever on KidsWB?).
I think shows based on WB properties (the DC Comics stuff and the Loony Tunes stuff) stand a good shot at coming back. The other stuff that was made by Cookie Jar will be long gone. It's not like WB isn't going to continue to use the Saturday morning block to help promote their kid friendly properties, they'll just be doing it through a different 3ed party.

Cardcaptors is Dead. There was too much controversy surrounding that series, so it went direct to video after a short while. I don't even want to go into it. >.>
...In other words, I just have one thing to say about this announcement.
Ick.
