Due to...extraordinary circumstances beyond anyone's control, I doubt many people could play Pokémon GO even if they wanted to.
I'm sure Pororo Go will garner interest from many kids in South Korea, but I'm not sure if it'll be fun enough for them to stay on it. |

Does anybody know why Pokémon GO in South Korea will be difficult? Is it because of the presence of North Korea? Is it some local laws that make Pokémon GO as it is illegal or adults-only? Is it that there's already heavy competition with similar app games? Is it because Pokémon video games have only recently been translated into Korean, and Pokémon GO caters heavily to nostalgia almost all Koreans simply don't have? Or something else?
Pororo is HUGE in South Korea. The franchise is THE biggest one for kids and has had a stranglehold on children's media there. It will get the attention of kids, I guarantee it. I don't think it will get much attention from teenagers or adults though. |

Looks like Korea isn't the only place where this might be a problem. https://amp.theguardian.com/technology/2016/jul/20/pokemon-go-players-in-bosnia-warned-to-steer-clear-of-landmines |
