I'm sure that right now Nintendo is very happy that they got into the app business and this is just the start who knows just how much more popular Pokémon Go or other Pokémon smartphone games will become.

Ahah I know how you feel, my phone is like prehistoric.
Ugh I wish stupid (lacking common sense) people would stop playing this game because they cause disturbance. I mean play with awareness gawd damn it. I can now see this game banned at many places. This is the cons I was talking about with this game. People's stupidity, never mind them getting their butt off their couch, have some common sense. |

Most people do. On average, how many people do you think qualify as stupid? If you get 100 people in a room, is it a safe bet to assume one would be stupid? 1% of 21m players is 210,000 stupid people. Inevitably some of those people will become news stories. What I'm tired of is people complaining about other people's self-awareness and the possibilities of this being used the wrong way and generally being grossly over dramatic. There's a lot of people playing this game and it's trendy so we're seeing news stories on it. "People playing the game as expected" is not a good news story, so of course all we see is stupid people doing stupid things. |

On the other hand, I can't help but think this is just another fad that will fade hard once the nice summer weather is gone. Regardless of how I personally feel about the game, those numbers are unquestionably impressive. |

There are plenty of things a flip-phone from 2007 can do, but catch pokemon it cannot.
