Yay for Fire Force. Yen Press would've taken forever to release it, so thank goodness it's with Kodansha.

Been waiting forever for Fire Force. I imagine it'll get a decent push when BONES adapts it in a couple years.

Fire Force sounds like something out of Power Rangers . I would have preferred they kept it Fire Brigade of Flames, but whatever.

Quote: | Terror has paralyzed the clockwork metropolis of Tokyo! Possessed by demons, people have begun to burst into flame, leading to the establishment of a special firefighting team: the Fire Force, ready to roll on a moment's notice to fight spontaneous combustion anywhere it might break out. The team is about to get a very unique addition: Shinra, a boy who possesses the unique power to run at the speed of a rocket, leaving behind the famous "devil's footprints" (and destroying his shoes in the process). Can the Fire Force discover the source of this strange phenomenon and put a stop to it? Or will the city burn to ashes first |
Ok, does anyone else think that sounds like The Fireman (any book fans in the house)?

Enen no Shouboutai began publication in 2015. Joe Hill's book was published this year. I should know I own a copy. I think it's just an uncanny coincident. While similar in concept, they are two separate stories.

Kodansha USA strikes once again with their horrible title translations. Wait, I take that back. It's not a translation. They pulled it out of their butts.
