Hmmm, interesting picks. Isn't Pilot Candidate supposed to be really awful? At the very least, I've heard the dub that aired on Toonami was.

Who was asking for these and where can I donate money to get them help? Pilot Candidate, really? You know I love you, Discotek, but just because it exists, doesn't mean you have to snag it.

Wind Named Amnesia was an interesting enough movie that I could've sworn made it into Buried Treasure at some point, but I guess I was wrong. (Though it was released by Central Park Media, not AnimEigo.)
EDIT: I was probably thinking about They Were 11, another old sci-fi movie released by CPM that was in Buried Treasure.
Soul Hunter seems to fall into the "nobody ever had strong feelings about it one way or the other" category, but Pilot Candidate ranks pretty low in popular esteem due to its incomplete story and bad CG, among other flaws. Though maybe if we're lucky, we'll get a version that isn't dubtitled... assuming Discotek doesn't re-use the same subs from the old Bandai release.

I don't remember the dub. I just remember being really into it and loving the story, and then being really angry when it ended because it cuts off in a terrible place and then THE END.
I'm torn because I want to support this release, but the bitterness . . .

Aside from a few folks on /m/ and Anime Abandon I've seen nobody that calls it that. There is even speculation now that DiscoTek only got this because of packaging deals, much like Funimation had to license Buddy Complex leaving it the only 21st century anime in its library without a dub.... Yet Dime Dollar the Lazy still gets one.
So the recap OVA is included? Good! 70s Gaiking slated for June? Even better!

I watched a Wind Named Amnesia a few years ago for the first time, and it was an interesting film, not bad, not great either, but felt like a strange dream in a lot of ways. I was glad to watch it and it made me feel nostalgic, but it's not something I would double-dip on.

I wasn't interested in Soul Hunter at first but it is a Monster Island dub and I like their dubs for some reason... they cut down on the "there's one voice that'll make your ears bleed" work from the regular ADV studio somehow. Kind of a "there's no small roles, only small dub studios" outfit that didn't have to show off.
It can't be any worse than Eden's Bowy and I really like Eden's Bowy.
On the other hand, I'd possibly be better off just watching Eden's Bowy again.

OniAi and C3 didn't get dubbed either.

I remember being stunned at how boring Pilot Candidate was as it aired on Adult Swim - I think Blue Seed was airing at the same time on the Encore Action Channel, so I started watching that instead (even though I'd already seen it). I do remember people making an effort to like it at the time - you know, like, "Maybe it'll get better!" - but as soon as it went off the air, it seemed like everyone wanted to forget about it.
That said, the fact that it was on TV at all, and especially during the exciting early days of Adult Swim, means there is probably some kind of audience for it. So I figure Discotek is right to get on this.

If it had dubtitles, they'll definitely re-translate it, but probably include the dubtitle track anyways as a bonus, as they're doing with Lupin III: Voyage to Danger.

Buddy Complex isn't the only show from Funi that didn't get a dub. OniAi, Puchim@s, C3 and Inari Kon Kon were also put out sub-only as well, with Shonen Holly and A Good Librarian to soon follow suit.
And say what you will about the show itself, but the Daimidaler dub is a thing of perverted beauty.
