Man, if there's one aspect of the Code Geass franchise I'm curious to see in anime form, it's this one in particular.

I would be curious also. Only two factors in not wanting it. 1. Making an anime version will result in weird canonicity factors. 2. A lot of characters from the original series appear, and having to get back the Californian actors for the dub will be a hassle, except maybe Jason C. Miller. That being said, I can't wait to see what they have in store for the series' 10th anniversary - they better include an AtE dub.
Also it's Oldrin Zevon, not Aldrin - that's where OZ comes from.

I saw CG in the title and got hyped AF then was quickly disappointed.
I'm seeing more CG ending this year than 10th anniversary announcement(s). Come on Sunrise. I haz f8th.

Quick question: what's AF?
Also, the CG anime ended in 2008. But the franchise can go on for as LONG as it likes (Dragon Ball and Naruto anyone?).

true. though there are some that would want to see the knightmare of nunnally manga into an anime series. the least desired is suzaku of the counterattack since its the worst of the spinoffs.

Nightmare of Nunnally and Suzaku of the Counterattack are both too similar to the original anime to be adapted. Renya of Darkness and OZ the Reflection are more likely, but not much. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for Akito the Exiled to be dubbed...

This is only my opinion, but Oz the Reflection is arguably one of the better Code Geass manga spin-offs. Most of them aren't that great or they're too far removed from the original story in questionable ways.
Oz tells a new story that can take place in the same universe of the TV show and combines both new characters as well as familiar faces. Which some might consider to be "fanservice" (in every sense of the term), but I like how a few of the existing secondary or minor characters get more opportunities to shine than in the original series.
It also provides a new perspective too, since most of the cast is Britannian and we can see they're not necessarily as simplistic in their "evil" as certain episodes of the TV series made it seem. Outside of the Ashford students and Euphemia it was hard to find a "good" Britannian during the events of the show. There might be a few small changes and retcons, but the big picture of the Code Geass universe actually improves as a result of this kind of expansion.

Awww, that really does sounds far more interesting! Especially considering they really utilize the minor characters from the original TV series. And on another note, it actually a plus point there are more females involved especially as Knightmare pilots as the original was. Akito the Exiled surprisingly and frankly disappointingly stuck to "traditional" mecha gender roles with the guys as mostly pilots and the girls (except Layla, Ayano, and Jean) as bridge bunnies.
