There something off about it, that I can't quite pin down. I get the feeling that even if it is good, it won't be right out of the gate.

For me, it's the way they drew the characters. That is, it reminds me of a Japanese mimicking those Japanese anime-style American cartoons. Regardless, I will watch it.

Looks like something that's going to get dubbed eventually. If Dagasihi kashi (A Japanese Candy heavy show), and some Choir/music shows can get dubbed, they shoe can too. Anime hyper

If Funi does a broadcast dub, it likely is limited to their site. If Aniplex gets it, they could put it on Crunchyroll and possibly reach a wider audience. However, region-locks are likely.
